Lucifer” Season 2, episode 15 recently revealed that Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) could be in grave danger.

In “Deceptive Little Parasite,” Charlotte urged her son, Lucifer (Tom Ellis), to ignite the flaming sword. Charlotte told him that the only way to do it is to focus on his emotions. Lucifer tried to feel sadness, joy and anger, but none of these emotions ignited the flaming sword.

During his conversation with Dr. Linda Martin (Rachael Harris), the therapist told Lucifer that he should think about the emotions that he’s been trying to suppress the most. Every now and then, Lucifer would feel angry, happy or even sad. However, he stopped himself from feeling any type of pain, especially the one caused by Charlotte and Chloe (Lauren German).

After taking Dr. Linda’s advice, Lucifer held the flaming sword in front of his mom and brother, Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside). With tears welling in his eyes, Lucifer was able to successfully make the sword work. However, this didn’t last long, so Charlotte forced Lucifer to try again. The latter was really tired from what he did, so he told his mom that he couldn’t do it a second time. Amenadiel sided with Lucifer and also asked Charlotte to stop stressing him over the sword.

Towards the end of their conversation, a worried Charlotte told her sons that they still have a lot of time to figure things out. Even though she really wants to use the sword to open the gates of Heaven, Charlotte doesn’t have any control over what Lucifer can and cannot do. When she left the room, Charlotte removed the bandaid on her wrist, and a bright light came out of her wound. She told herself that only Lucifer and Amenadiel have more time, but she doesn’t. By the looks of it, Charlotte is in danger, and leaving Earth as soon as possible is what will be best for her.

Elsewhere in the episode, Lucifer and Chloe dealt with a case that involved the murder of a school administrator. With the help of Chloe’s daughter, Trixie (Scarlett Estevez), Lucifer was able to go inside the school where the deceased character used to work. While there, he had a conversation with the staff and parents who could be suspects in their murder investigation.

It was later on revealed that one of the staff, who has been teaching kids how to control their emotions, was the one who killed the administrator. She also exposed the fact that her son’s father is not the man she’s married to. Her son’s father is the P.E. teacher at the school, and the administrator knew about it and threatened to expose her secret.

Additionally, Trixie also had a touching conversation with Chloe, and the two promised each other that they won’t keep any secrets from the other.
