New York police arrested a man Sunday after a video surfaced that showed him allegedly trying to abduct a woman from a subway train.

The suspect, identified as Sonny Alloway, 48, was charged with unlawful imprisonment for allegedly trying to carry the woman off a No. 6 train in the Bronx to kidnap her.

A witness filmed the video in which he was seen first trying to talk to the unidentified woman while she was asleep in her seat. He then carried the woman outside on his shoulder and settled her on a bench at the Morrison Avenue-Soundview Westchester Avenue station.

‘No! What the f--k let me go. What are you doing? Let me go!" the woman shouted. She struggled her way back into the train and the suspect fled.

"This guy just tried to grab me. He just tried to pull me off the train!’ she told her male companion.

Shortly after, the passengers at the train began to shout at the suspect. "You like raping little girls? You f--king rapist!" one of them said.

A second video showed Alloway getting beaten by a group of men Monday after they recognized him from the first video. One of the men alerted the authorities while Alloway took shelter at a corner store, ABC News reported.

Police said Alloway was earlier arrested for assault and drug possession. He was taken to St Barnabas hospital with minor injuries before being held in custody. It was unclear whether Alloway was assigned an attorney to speak on his behalf.
