A 35-year-old man in India succumbed to death after he was brutally beaten, in a dispute over car parking.

The shocking incident, which was caught on camera, showed the victim lying on the ground and getting thrashed with bricks.

The incident happened in Ghaziabad, a city in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, Tuesday night. The video shows the victim, identified by his first name Arun, lying on the road, while two unidentified suspects assaulted him, striking his head with bricks, Times Now News reported.

The victim, who suffered severe injuries in the attack, was taken to a nearby hospital, but died on the way, an investigating officer, Gyanendra Singh said, as reported by DNA India.

The following video may be distressing to some viewers.

According to reports, the altercation began after the victim parked his car near the suspects' vehicle, due to which the latter could not open the door of their ride.

The footage of the incident was captured by an onlooker, and was shared on social media. The video also shows several others passing through the busy road without attempting to intervene in the fight. After the video of the incident went viral, a heated online discussion began questioning the passive behavior of the onlookers, who allowed the assault to continue, which eventually resulted in a gruesome murder.

According to reports, the police have registered a case against the suspects. However, the details of the charges and the identities of the suspects have not been revealed. It was also unclear if the suspects were taken into custody in connection with the incident.

In an unrelated incident that happened last week, a 12-year-old girl in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh was found lying on the ground, drenched in blood, asking for help while passive onlookers shot videos of her. Instead of helping the child who was possibly raped, the passersby reportedly attempted to capture the girl's plight on their phones. Several videos of the incident that went viral on social media showed the child begging for help as the onlookers filmed the vulnerable child, without even attempting to rush her to a hospital.
