Distressed over her saucy TikTok videos, a man in Brazil shot his influencer wife 14 times before turning the gun on himself.

Alejandro Antonio Aguilera Cantallupi shot his influencer wife, Eliane Ferreira Siolin, in front of their 6-year-old daughter before shooting himself in the head. The incident took place on Jan. 24, during a family barbecue at the porch behind their residence in Ponta Porã, a municipality in Brazil.

First respondents found both Siolin and Cantallupi lying unresponsive in a pool of blood. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Siolin suffered 14 gunshot wounds and a broken arm, while Cantallupi had a single gunshot wound to the head, The Daily Dot reported.

Siolin has over 61,000 followers on her TikTok account. She was an influencer and regularly posted pictures and short clips of herself, mostly in revealing outfits.

The couple allegedly engaged in frequent arguments regarding her posts. They reportedly got into an altercation over a TikTok video that Siolin had posted. However, it is not clear as to which particular video triggered the incident.

"Close friends said they fought a lot, even in public," police officer Analu Ferraz told local media.

A gun, a number of bullets, and a spare magazine were retrieved from the crime scene. The case is under investigation.

The couple's 6-year-old daughter, who witnessed the horrifying incident, is reported to be in shock. The child is now under the safe care of a family member.

In a similar incident, a popular Chinese influencer was killed by her ex-husband after he set her ablaze during a live stream. Vlogger Lamu, who had over 782,000 followers on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, at the time of her death, was live streaming from her home when her ex-husband broke in and doused her in petrol before setting her on fire. She died three weeks after the incident. The accused was taken into custody on suspicion of intentional homicide.
