Megan Thee Stallion became the talk of the town after she posted a photo wearing a custom diamond necklace costing half a million dollars.

On Monday, July 27, the 25-year-old rapper took to Instagram to post a selfie wearing the necklace made by NYC-based jeweler Elliot Eliantte. In the selfie, the rapper rocks the necklace and pairs it with a lacy white halter top and diamond earrings. She completes the look with a dramatic set of lashes, winged liner and light purple hair. She also posted a video in which she showed off the eye-catching necklace and a custom watch.

Speaking to US Weekly Stylish, Simon Babaev of Eliantte &Co. said the necklace is priced at $425,000.

"The stunner was made in collaboration with Elliot and Megan. They worked very closely in designing this piece together to reflect her personality and our brand’s design aesthetic," Babeav told the outlet, adding that the exquisite piece took close to six months to complete.

The "Savage" hitmaker has been in the news recently after she was allegedly shot by Tory Lanez. The incident happened earlier this month following an argument in Lanez's vehicle. Stallion was rushed to the hospital where she underwent surgery. Lanez was taken into custody on a concealed weapons charge after a gun was found inside the vehicle. He was released after he posted bail.

During an Instagram Live earlier this week, Stallion described the shooting saying it "shook her up."

"I was shot in both of my feet, and I had to get surgery to get the s--t taken out, the bullets taken out, and it was super scary," she said.

"It was like just the worst experience of my life, and it’s not funny. There’s nothing to joke about. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do s--t, and thank God the bullets didn’t touch bones, they didn’t break tendons," she told her followers.

She went on to thank her friends for being by her side.

"I definitely had to sit my ass down and pray on it, and I do feel a lot better, and thank God for the people I have around me that are actually here for me and are actually my friends … would never turn on me for no amount of money, no amount of clout. That wouldn’t make up stories about me to save face," she said.
