Meghan Markle and Prince Harry snubbed Queen Elizabeth II’s invite to join her in Balmoral.

A recent report claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not joining Her Majesty in her favorite home in Scotland. Prince Harry and Markle have no plans to visit the monarch in Balmoral Castle this summer.

On the recent episode of Channel 5’s “Jeremy Vine,” the host discussed with journalist Nina Mishcov, Gogglebox legend Dominic Parker and Brexit Party MEP Dr. David Bull why the couple didn’t join the Queen. According to Parker, it was disappointing on Prince Harry and Markle’s part to snub the Queen’s invitation to go to Balmoral for the second year running. Vine asked Bull for his thoughts about it.

“I was going to say I think there’s some sort of rift going on isn’t there, I know Meghan is very keen to go back to the US. There is obviously something more going on,” Bull said.

Meanwhile, Vine aired his own opinion and he believed that it is because Markle is “uncomfortable with grouse shooting at all that.”

“She doesn’t like the sound of gunshots you know, she’s American, got all that connection. So she just thinks ‘I’d rather not go,” he explained.

“If you’re not a hunting, shooting person then Scotland, and I was born in Scotland, with its midges and the royal family the way they are, and I’ve read things about how dreadful the Christmas is, why would you want to go?” Mishcov added.

However, she added that she also heard stories that Prince Harry hasn’t been there recently, so if the couple are not joining the Queen it would not be Marke’s fault alone. However, many still blamed the duchess.

According to an insider, the Queen was disappointed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex couldn’t join her. Prince Harry and Markle reportedly declined because their son Archie is still too young to travel. However, Vine cheekily remarked that it’s difficult to gauge Prince Harry and Markle because they just took their baby to Ibiza implying that his age doesn’t really matter when it comes to travelling.

Meanwhile, another said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “too buys.” However, news report claimed that Markle just flew to New York to support her friend Serena Williams for her final game for the U.S. Open tournament.
