Listeners of Meghan Markle's newly launched podcast "Archetypes" will get to know the "real" her.

In a teaser video released Tuesday via Spotify's Instagram account, the Duchess of Sussex, 41, revealed that she will show her authentic self in her podcast, different from what the media has portrayed.

"People should expect the real me in this, and probably the me that they've never gotten to know — certainly not in the past few years, where everything is through the lens of the media as opposed to, 'Hey, it's me,'" Markle excitedly shared in the video.

She continued, "I'm just excited to be myself and talk and be unfiltered and...yeah, it's fun."

The post garnered supportive messages and positive feedback from fans looking forward to getting to know the real Meghan behind all the glitz and glamour.

"Proud to see Meghan shine and put other women [in] the spotlight to talk about how society [tries] to undermine and destroy them for being authentically themselves!" one user wrote.

Another commented, "I was literally saying to myself this morning when this was gonna come out!! FINALLY! I'm so EXCITED to listen to this!"

The "Archetypes" podcast debuted on Spotify Tuesday with its first one-hour episode, which featured a special guest, tennis superstar and Markle's longtime friend Serena Williams.

In the episode, the former royal and the 40-year-old tennis champ talked about the double standards between men and women when it comes to ambition.

"Hi, I'm Meghan. And this is 'Archetypes,' my podcast about the labels and tropes that try to hold women back. Over the course of the next dozen episodes, we're going to live inside and rip apart the boxes women have been placed into for generations," Markle said in the introduction to the first episode of the podcast.

She continued, "[Boxes] like diva, crazy, the b-word, slut. Some of these words – these labels are harsh. They're abrasive. And I want to get to the bottom of where they come from, why they've stuck around for so long, and – importantly – how we can move past them."

Markle also shared that through the podcast, she hopes to inspire other women with her own "lived experience" and get them to open up and realize that they are "not alone in this world."

"Archetypes" episode 1, "The Misconceptions Of Ambition with Serena Williams," can be streamed here.
