  • Melania Trump was mocked over a bizarre term last year

Melania Trump previously welcomed the children of her Secret Service detail to the White House following the renovation of the Bowling Alley last year. Today, one bizarre detail from that time is still being talked about.

According to Political Flare, the White House Bowling Alley was last renovated in 1994 during President Bill Clinton’s term. Decades later, Donald Trump’s wife led the efforts to restore the Bowling Alley that was a major departure from what it previously looked like.

The newly renovated room still features the original wooden lane from years ago, but the electrical wiring, mechanics, and interior design were renovated. The money used to restore the Bowling Alley came from the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America.

Shortly after the White House shared photos of the FLOTUS playing bowling with a group of adorable children, Melania received praise from her supporters. However, eagle-eyed critics also saw one bizarre detail inside the Bowling Alley.

They noticed that the bowling bowls had the words President’s House instead of the People’s House. Some netizens claimed that the bowling bowls should’ve included the latter because the people are the ones that pay for the White House with their taxes.

Melania and her husband were mocked by their critics after seeing how the words President’s House was embossed on the bowling balls. Others also said that it’s good to know that the FLOTUS is actually doing something as the first lady.

“Who the hell embosses bowling balls? And asks us, poor taxpayers, to pay for it?” Twitter user @Lee_In_Iowa said.

“I’m surprised they didn’t call it King’s House. But the good news is that, someday, Trump will be going to the Big House,” Twitter user @ProphetM0tive said.

“It this for real? She did the bowling alley and put ‘the president’s house’ on balls? What’s next? ‘The president’s toilets,’ ‘the president’s underwear drawer’? Here are some of her other projects…” Twitter user @MotherSquid said.

“The People’s House is the House of Representatives,” Twitter user @jpepys said.

“Now, that’s some serious work for Melania. Meanwhile, Michelle Obama is living her best life and work through the Obama Foundation mentoring students and future global leaders. Melania should plagiarize that,” Twitter user @haleakela19 said.
