Melania Trump said that she is not a “nagging wife.”

Melania moved to the United States to flourish her modeling career. Aside from achieving that she met and married President Donald Trump. She gained both supporters and critics when they became the first family.

In a previous interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the first lady confessed that she raised their son Barron to speak Slovenian like herself. Melania is also fluent in French and Italian. However, her husband remains a monoglot, though this is not an issue for her.

“He speaks English. That’s it. And that’s okay,” Melania said about her husband only speaking English. “I’m not that kind of wife who would say, ‘Learn this’ or ‘Learn that.’ I’m not a nagging wife.”

Trump can also depend on Melania’s unflappability. The FLOTUS shared that she is comfortable with the camera as it has been part of her life for years and it’s not something new to her. Also, she freely gives her opinions to her husband. Sometimes he takes them, sometimes he rejects them. She added that she doesn’t agree with Trump all the time because she is not a “yes” person.

“No matter who you are married to, you still need to lead your life. I don’t want to change him. And he doesn't want to change me,” Melania added.

In another interview, Melania shared her thoughts when MSNBC host Christ Matthews praised her appearance during the 2016 campaign. The first lady said that she is not only a beauty, but she is also smart and intelligent.

Melania confessed that Donald needs somebody to tell him the truth and that somebody should be smart. She insisted that she’s not just someone doing things for the president.

Although Melania freely shares her opinions to Donald, this doesn’t mean that she doesn’t trust him. In fact, the FLOTUS is very impressed with her husband’s leadership skills.

Melania considered Donald a great leader and an amazing negotiator. She is confident that the POTUS has what it takes to be an amazing president.
