Hallmark Movies & Mysteries continues its Miracles of Christmas programming event with the premiere of “Memories of Christmas” on Saturday. The film stars Hallmark newcomers, Christina Milian and Mark Taylor.

While this is the first Hallmark Christmas rom-com for the songstress, it’s not her first go of the subgenre. She previously starred in ABC Family’s (now Freeform) “Christmas Cupid” in 2010 and Lifetime’s “A Snow Globe Christmas” in 2013.

As for Taylor, viewers will likely recognize him from his starring role on the teen drama, “Instant Star,” and from his 2000 comedy flick, “Seventeen Again,” with the Mowry twins.

In this flick, “Noelle Carson (Milian) is a star San Francisco financial dealmaker in need of a well-earned break,” the synopsis begins. “She returns to her quaint northern Michigan town to pack up and sell her inherited childhood home and attend the annual Christmas Charity Gala, established by her late Christmas-obsessed mother. Upon arrival, Noelle meets the handsome Dave Beckman (Taylor), a handyman in charge of decorating not only her home but also the lodge where the gala is held.”

The synopsis continues: “Soon after, Dave and the town learn the fate of the lodge: it’s being sold to developers – clients of Noelle’s firm – and as a result, the budding romance between Noelle and Dave quickly fizzles. When Noelle’s co-worker (and crush) Rex (Jaime M. Callica) unexpectedly arrives to help her pack, Noelle learns of his ulterior motives and is devastatingly torn.”

Check out “Memories of Christmas” on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Saturday at 9 p.m. EST.
