Someone from the Pemberton clan unexpectedly falls for Mickey in the next episode of “The Mick.”

According to the synopsis for Season 2, episode 6 of the Fox comedy, Mickey (Kaitlin Olson), Jimmy (Scott MacArthur), Alba (Carla Jimenez), Sabrina (Sofia Black-D’Elia), Chip (Thomas Barbusca), and Ben (Jack Stanton) go to the 100th birthday celebration of the kids’ great grandmother, Rita Pemberton (Judith Roberts).

The party is held at Rita’s huge mansion, and Mickey couldn’t be more thrilled with the perks that come with being one of the guests. “This is the life I signed up for when I agreed to baby sit you,” Mickey tells Chip and Ben in the trailer for the episode.

For some reason, Rita believes Mickey to be an old friend. And being the free rider that she is, Mickey takes advantage of Rita’s goodness to her. As seen in the promo clip, Mickey and Rita bond over drinking, shopping, and skeet shooting. But Mickey later finds out that Rita’s feelings for her is more than just platonic.

At some point in the trailer, Rita tries to touch Mickey’s hand during what appears to be a lunch date. And later in the video, a naked Rita sneaks into Mickey’s room and tries to kiss her on the lips. “Take me,” Rita affectionately tells Mickey.

Elsewhere in the episode, the kids’ grandmother, Tippy (Concetta Tomei), returns in the episode and gives the family an unexpected surprise. The kids’ grandfather, who goes by the alias The Colonel (E.J. Callahan), also makes a comeback in the episode.

As fans remember, Tippy and the Colonel made their first appearance in Season 1, episode 2. In the installment, Mickey called them up to discipline their grandsons.

Meanwhile, in related news, it was revealed earlier this week that Fox commissioned seven additional episodes for “The Mick,” bringing its total episode order for Season 2 to 20, three more episodes than it produced in its freshman run.

“The Mick” Season 2, episode 6, titled “The Matriarch,” airs on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 9 p.m. on Fox. Watch the promo clip for the episode below:
