A scissor-wielding alleged intruder has been arrested outside Miley Cyrus' home in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Employees of Cyrus who were inside her home called Los Angeles police around 4 a.m. Saturday after a man appeared at her door and said he was a friend of hers, according to the Huffington Post.

The man then allegedly proceeded to "[throw] himself against an outside wall as if he was trying to break into the house," according to HuffPo.

The 19-year-old actress was not home at the time, but some of her family were. Police arrested the man, who allegedly had a pair of scissors in his possession and tried to hide in bushes but was collared when officers spotted him, the Huffington Post reports.

The man, Jason Luis Riviera, allegedly even went so far as to tell the employees he was married to Cyrus, according to the Examiner.

The Examiner reports that Riviera had to jump a fence to get into Cyrus' yard and was wearing a rope necklace in the shape of a heart at the time of his arrest.

Los Angeles police Lt. Brian Wendling said charges have not yet been filed, according to HuffPo.
