Miley Cyrus’ ex, Patrick Schwarzenegger, has given up smoking weed entirely. In a social media post, he wrote that it was his dad Arnold Schwarzenegger who convinced him to stop using marijuana.

In a post on Instagram, Patrick confessed that he was high when he went to an Easter brunch about three years ago. Arnold noticed it and asked his son why he smoked weed. “I dunno makes thing more fun,” Patrick replied, and his father explained to him that he doesn’t need such stimulants when there is so much to enjoy in life.

The conversation appears to have had a deep impact on Patrick. He stopped smoking weed since that conversation, and in his post he wrote that his life now is good. “Being high on life is better [than] anything else,” he wrote in his post and added that he doesn’t want anything to take him out of his current life.

Patrick’s initial post suggested that he was smoking weed about four years back. This is the time when he was linked with Cyrus, US Weekly reported. He later changed his post to say that he was high at an Easter brunch around three years back.

While Patrick has quit marijuana, Cyrus has been vocal on the subject. Her recent post on Twitter shows an animation character of her smoking. She previously shared a video of her smoking inside her car, and wrote about shaping a whole generation.

Cyrus too quit marijuana in 2017, but she started using again. She admitted that her mother Tish smokes a lot of weed.

After breaking up with Patrick, Cyrus started dating Liam Hemsworth, and the two later got married. The couple went to the “Avengers: Endgame” premiere at the Los Angeles Convention Center recently, ET Online reported.

Cyrus wore a Saint Laurent black sleeveless cutout dress from Anthony Vaccarello for the movie premiere. She and Hemsworth posed for the cameras together.
