When viewers tune into “My 600-LB Life: Where Are They Now?” on Wednesday night, they will be reunited with Janine Mueller. When the subject appeared in Season 6 of the TLC series, she was 621 pounds and had to rely on a motor scooter to get around.

More than a year after her episode has aired, a lot has changed for Janine. However, a few Facebook updates seem to suggest she may have faced a few obstacles amid her weight loss journey.

Fans may recall Janine’s episode, which reflected on her difficult childhood. Janine was adopted at two months old and felt like a constant disappointment to her adoptive parents. Throughout her life, Janine’s mother made her diet, and years later, Janine began to suffer from panic attacks.

Although she went to Austin to join Dr. Now’s program, she did not stick to the diet restrictions and was not approved for weight loss surgery.

Nowadays, it is unclear if Janine has been able to get approval for the weight loss procedure. Janine’s most recent Facebook photo is from March, and the image is a throwback photo that only features her head.

In the picture, Janine is seen laying down and cuddling her cat. Janine’s face appears to be more full compared to a photo she shared in January 2018. Due to the lack of recent photo, it is difficult to analyze the extent of progress she has made in her weight loss journey.

Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long before she updates her Facebook page with current photos. On May 22, Janine expressed her excitement about sharing her progress with viewers.

“Hi Everyone! Just here to say hi and let you know the NEW episode will be out SOON! like NEXT week! Check your local TLC listing for times! After it airs, then I can post NEW pics! You will LOVE it,” she wrote.

“My 600-LB Life” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
