Two ideologies are set to clash when Re-Destro of Meta Liberation Army declares war against Shigaraki and the League of Villains in "My Hero Academia" Season 5, Episode 21 (Episode 109).

In the official promo trailer, Re-Destro, who is the supreme leader of the Meta Liberation Army, wants to free the usage of Quirks in society. He wants people with Quirks to use their powers at 100% capacity.

Meanwhile, Shigaraki and the League of Villains get involved in the entire Meta Liberation Army mess, when Re-Destro kidnaps Giran. Now, Shigaraki has no choice but to fight Re-Destro and his massive army.

The preview for "My Hero Academia" Season 5, Episode 21 (Episode 109) tweeted by Atsushi teases the past of Himiko Toga -- a member of the League of Villains.

“The league of villains and the meta liberation army will finally collide, carrying on their own ideals! And Toga's past will be revealed...?!” read the preview for Episode 21 (Episode 109), as per Atsushi’s tweet.

In other "My Hero Academia" news, a spinoff novel is scheduled for release on Oct. 4. The novel titled "My Hero Academia School Briefs: Cherry Blossom" is written by Anri Yoshi.

Twitter user Atsuhi has shared the description of the upcoming novel.

“The School Briefs series is back, unveiling some new secrets of the U.A. school life! This time the novel will take place in the period before the war against the Paranormal Liberation Front, including stories about their Valentine’s Day, Setsubun and Spring Break!!” read the description.
