A UFO expert claimed that a couple of photos taken during NASA’s Apollo program revealed a dome structure in one of the Moon’s crater. As noted by the expert, the structure could be the same alien base that NASA allegedly occupied according to hacker and whistleblower Gary McKinnon.

According to Scott Waring of ET Data Base, he came across images of the alleged alien base as he was going through the photos shared via the Apollo Image Atlas website. This website mainly features photos of the Moon and its surface that were taken during NASA’s previous missions.

As Waring was browsing through the site, he came across two particular photos that were taken from the Moon’s orbit. Although taken from different angles, the photos who the same region on Mars. According to Waring, both photos show a dome structure made of glass sitting in a crater.

“Last night I was looking over a few NASA photos taken back in Dec of 1972 and discovered the legendary glass dome over a moon crater,” Waring stated in a blog post. “Mind you, I have heard the story about the glass dome existing and I even found it about 5 years ago, but then forgot how to find it again.”

According to the UFO expert, this could be the same structure that was discussed by McKinnon, who was accused of hacking into the systems of the U.S. Military and NASA in 2002. McKinnon noted that he hacked into these systems to search for evidence of alien and UFO cover-ups.

Waring stated that McKinnon learned that NASA found an active alien base on the Moon. It was then allegedly occupied by the agency by stationing about a thousand soldiers inside the base. According to Waring, the base could be the same glass dome structure he found in NASA’s photos.

“Supposedly this is where NASA found the abandoned alien base that was still in working order and then they stationed 1000 US Marines on it, or so the story goes from the info that computer hacker Gary McKinnon has stated in interviews,” Waring stated.

“If this is true and this dome over the crater is the base, then these photos I am posting today may be the first-ever photos of the city of ‘Luna’ as it’s been called in the past,” he added.

mountains of the Moon
Most mountains on the Earth are formed as plates collide and the crust buckles. Not so for the Moon, where mountains are formed as a result of impacts as seen by NASA Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. NASA/GSFC/Arizona State University
