  • UFO expert Scott Waring claims to have spotted an alien base on the Moon
  • The photo of the alleged alien structure was captured by NASA's LRO spacecraft
  • Waring believes the structure also operates as a flying vessel

A UFO expert claimed to have spotted a massive alien base on the surface of the Moon. According to the expert, the alleged structure may also operate as a vessel than can travel to different locations.

The strange sighting was reported by Scott Waring of ET Data Base. He said he came across the image of the strange object while he was browsing the website of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC).

The LROC is the camera attached to the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), a robotic spacecraft launched by NASA on June 19, 2009. For over a decade, the LRO has been orbiting the Moon to collect data about its terrain and other surface features.

As Waring was going through the LROC site, he came across an image of a region on the Moon that features a strange-looking object on the surface. After using editing software to analyze and process the image, the UFO expert speculated that the object could be a massive alien structure on Earth's natural satellite.

“I found this black structure and normally would have passed it up, but I instead used software to correct the out of focus screenshot from the Moon map,” he stated in a blog post. “The black structure is like something out of a movie. It has a big opening facing us and two long parts sticking out. There is clearly an amazing building here.”

Based on the image and the LROC maps’ scaling feature, the alleged structure could measure less than 50 meters wide.

Aside from possibly serving as an alien base, Waring believes that the mysterious object may also be a vessel that could be used to travel to different locations. The UFO expert noted that the alleged vessel might have been abandoned by the aliens that used it.

“It’s a ship that can move locations, but I guess they either parked it here to return later or abandoned it,” Waring stated.

Despite Waring’s claims about the LROC website’s photo, NASA has not provided information that can confirm or support his theories.
