National Chilli Hot Dog Day, which falls on the last Thursday of July, celebrates the zesty snack made up of standard hot dogs sprinkled with copious amounts of chilies. The juicy hot dogs with a thick layer of savory chili taste best with oodles of cheddar cheese and onions and are definitely crowd-pullers at backyard parties.
