Wednesday just got more exciting thanks to the arrival of National Wine Day. Each year, the vino-themed holiday is celebrated on May 25, however, there isn’t much information about its origin.

Wine is made from fermented grapes through a process in which yeast consumes the sugar and converts it into alcohol. Through the use of different grapes and strains of yeast, a variety of wines has been created over the years.

Whether you prefer red, white, or rosé, consider celebrating the day by pouring yourself a glass of your favorite vino and checking out these 15 quotes about wine that were compiled from Goodreads and A-Z Quotes.
