Decision On Additional Charges For George Floyd’s Death To Be Announced

The Attorney General's office has finished the investigation on George Floyd's death and is expected to announce the decision regarding the filing of additional charges against ex-cop Derek Chauvin who is currently facing third degree murder and second degree manslaughter charges. Meanwhile, authorities are still examining the charges that might be filed against the three other cops who were present on the scene.

Florida Cop Placed On Leave After Pinning Down Black Man’s Neck In Custody

A Florida cop was placed on leave after a video surfaced of him with two officers arresting a black man charged with possessing ammunition on May 18. The officer was seen kneeling on the suspect's neck. The suspect was taken to jail afterwards and did not require medical attention. The incident happened a week before George Floyd's death.
