“JAG” characters will return in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11. After making a brief appearance in the last season, the fans will get to see more of Harmon Rabb Jr. (David James Elliot) and Sarah MacKenzie (Catherine Bell), and their relationship will be further fleshed out on the show.

In a recent interview with TV Line, showrunner R. Scott Gemmill said that Harmon and Sarah’s paths will take them closer to each other with each episode of the show this year. The two will reach a point when they will be in the same room, making that episode the first physical reunion of the two “JAG” characters. What happens after the meeting is something that the producer refused to reveal, letting the fans speculate about the future of their relationship.

When Harmon and Sarah first interacted in the last season, it was through a video conference. The show had already revealed that the two characters went their separate ways, with Sarah working with the State Department while Harmon went on to become the XO of USS Allegiance.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11 will explore the relationship of Harmon and Sarah. Will the show give the couple a happy conclusion?

The two “JAG” characters were married but they haven’t met in nine years. Sarah shared details about her relationship with Hetty (Linda Hunt) in a scene that has been shared on the show’s Instagram page.

Harmon on the other hand is currently enjoying his life flying Super Hornets. His introduction scene has also been shared on the Instagram page of the TV series.

It remains to be seen if working together on a case will bring the two “JAG” characters closer together. It was Hetty who said that the “final chapter” of the two characters hasn’t been written yet.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11 will premiere on Sept. 29.
