NFL Star Donates Playoff Game Check To Honor 7-Year-Old Houston Girl Who Died In Drive-By Shooting

The death of a young Houston girl in a drive-by shooting Sunday has garnered national attention, including an outpouring of support from the sports community.
Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on Thursday posted on Twitter that he would dedicate his $29,000 playoff game paycheck Saturday to the family of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes.
"On Saturday, I will be playing in your honor, Jazmine," wrote Hopkins, a three-time Pro Bowler.

The Texans host the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday in a wild-card game.
