Looks like Infinite Fall is finally bringing “Night in the Woods” to the Nintendo Switch. The independent developer has not specifically confirmed this, but it did leave a hint on social media when it announced the Weird Autumn Edition for its 2D story-focused adventure/exploration game.

Eurogamer was the first to spot the clue from the series of tweets Infinite Fall made on Monday. “Stay tuned for news on another console, which I am unable to mention for reasons, but you know what console I’m talking about,” read the tweet that caught the publication’s attention.

Since “Night in the Woods” is already available on PS4 and it is already coming to Xbox One, it’s very likely that Infinite Fall was referring to the Switch. If true, this won’t be surprising because the Switch’s success is quite undeniable. It was found out recently that Nintendo has already sold 7.36 million units of the hybrid console. As per CNNMoney, Nintendo is now expecting an operating profit of $1.06 billion for the current financial year.

Apart from the teaser, Infinite Fall also put the spotlight on the upcoming director’s cut update called Weird Autumn Edition. This upcoming version is said to come with a “whole bunch of new content” with “new weird, new crimes and old tales.”

The Weird Autumn Edition update is slated for release on Dec. 13. It is going to be made available as a free update for PC and PS4 players. Based on the announcement trailer, the free update will include new petty crime-based mini games and bizarre dream sequences from Mae’s mind. In addition, the update will bring the previously PC-exclusive pre-release miniature episodes “Longest Night” and “Lost Constellation” to supported console platforms, as per Polygon.

Another thing that fans should watch out for this coming Dec. 13 is the debut of “Night in the Woods” on Xbox One. The Weird Autumn Edition will bring Xbox One support to the game. For Xbox One players, they will be the first to receive the “Longest Night” and “Lost Constellation” episodes on their console. Apparently, the two supplemental games will not hit the PS4 platform until January 2018.

“Night in the Woods” is a simple single-player video game that follows a cat named Mae and her closest friends through their supernatural adventures in a fictional Rust Belt town. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux and the PlayStation 4 console in February 2017. It has since received a lot of praise for its point-and-click style and its philosophical and religious undertones.

The game’s official description reads: “College dropout Mae Borowski returns home to the crumbling former mining town of Possum Springs seeking to resume her aimless former life and reconnect with the friends she left behind. But things aren't the same. Home seems different now and her friends have grown and changed. Leaves are falling and the wind is growing colder. Strange things are happening as the light fades. And there's something in the woods.”
