Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish’s “Clan Lands” finally has some big news. The two “Outlander” stars produced their own series about Scotland, and it has a new title as well as an air date.

“Clan Lands” is now called “Men in Kilts: A Road Trip With Sam & Graham.” The show features Heughan and McTavish exploring Scotland, which is where “Outlander” films. Announced on “Good Morning America” Wednesday, the travel show will explore Scottish destinations, culture and history, including everything from the clans to the whisky.

“I think we both knew a lot about Scottish culture, but we wanted to know more. We learned things that we didn’t know before,” Heughan said on “GMA.” “I wish we could do this everyday. It’s so fun.”

Fans had been speculating about where “Clan Lands,” now called “Men in Kilts,” would air with many believing that Netflix and Hulu were likely. Instead, it has landed at a cable channel in the U.S., but Heughan and McTavish’s fans likely already have access. Conveniently, the travel show will air on the same channel that is home to “Outlander,” Starz.

McTavish previously told Outlander Behind The Scenes that he and Heughan are writing a book about the experience while productions are on hold. “We’re writing a book together about the whole thing,” he revealed in April. “A much broader book, really, about clans, about Scotland, about ourselves, our friendship. We’ll obviously reference Outlander. It’s kind of in-depth thing, really. It’s a sort of lucky consequence of the situation we’re in that both Sam and I, we have a lot of time on our hands. We talk every day.”

The season will air on Starz (both the TV channel and streaming service) in 2020, though an exact premiere date has not been announced. The stars have previously said that the first season is expected to be eight episodes, and they hope to return for future seasons.

“Outlander” has increased interest in Scotland. Author Diana Gabaldon was presented with an International Contribution to Scottish Tourism award at the Scottish Thistle awards last year. According to the BBC, “Outlander” increased tourism to Scotland by 67% since 2013, from 887,000 to 1.5 million, and filming locations have more than doubled their visitor numbers since the show started airing.
