'Overwatch: Uprising' End Date And Time: How Long Will Omnic Event Last?

The Overwatch Uprising event is coming to a close, so if you still haven’t pulled Blackwatch Genji or McCree from a Loot Box, you’re running out of time. The event, which has been a wild success so far, brought us skins that helped flesh out the backstory of the Overwatch team and King’s Row Uprising, along with a horde mode that might have been more fun than the actual game.

Overwatch : Uprising will most likely end on May 1 at around 1 to 2 p.m. EST. I could be wrong about this; Blizzard could prolong the event for unknown reasons or cut it off with little warning.

I’ve had a ton of fun playing the new King’s Row Uprising mode; I’ve murdered so many purple omnics over the past few weeks. For someone who isn’t very good at aiming, shooting, dodging or pretty much anything needed to get past Gold in Overwatch, this Horde mode was amazing. On normal difficulty the omnics just stood there and took my Torbjorn lava to their angry, red eyes.

The King’s Row Uprising game mode takes players through Tracer’s first day on the job, slaughtering hundreds of terrorist omnics and saving her home country. Learning about the lore behind my favorite heroes is my favorite aspect of Overwatch. All of this game’s characters are so vibrant and distinctive and I want to know how they turned out so… heroic.

If you haven’t already unlocked all the free Loot Boxes you can get, along with the King’s Row Uprising sprays, here’s what you have to do.

• You get one Loot Box for logging in during the event, one for beating the King’s Row Uprising game mode with the Overwatch squad and one last one for defeating it with any hero. This can be done on any difficulty, so don’t go crazy trying to get free cosmetics.

• Eradicator Spray- Beat the King’s Row Uprising on Hard difficulty.

• B73NS Spray- For the confused Bastion spray, you need to beat the mode on Expert.

• OR14-NS Spray- You’ll need to beat the game on Legendary for this spray.

• Slicer Spray- Keep the Payload above 80 percent health on Hard difficulty for this cute guy.

• Nulltrooper Spray- Beat the mode with all four heroes: Reinhardt, Tracer, Torbjorn and Mercy.

• Nullmari Spray- The best spray in the game can only be unlocked by beating King’s Row Uprising in All Heroes mode with eight different heroes. I’ve been trying to get this dope Pachimari the whole event and have had zero luck winning with random strangers online.

I’ve accepted the fact I’m never going to get some of these sprays, so I’ve been trying to hide my sorrows by buying Loot Boxes. Why do I need 50 dollars worth of imaginary cosmetics when I already have a Legendary skin for every hero? Why does Genji swing his blade or D.Va yell “nerf this,” even though it makes little sense? Overwatch has become a hobby to me, a game I can play with my friends and show off my awesome new skins while messing around in Competitive Play.
