Remy Ma’s husband Papoose just revealed on social media that he has a new song coming up. The timing of his teaser has caused some raised eyebrows since his wife has an ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj.

On Thursday, the “Alphabetical Slaughter” rapper took to Instagram to share what appears to be a black and white album cover showing him staring blankly while holding a bottle of alcohol. Papoose revealed in the caption that he just finished a new song. What’s even more interesting is that he added a cryptic sentence that reads, “I think y’all gonna like it.”

Some of his followers quickly speculated that the upcoming single has something to do with Remy Ma’s beef with Minaj. Queen Barbz dropped three tracks last week, and two of them were directed at the “shETHER” rapper. Minaj’s “No Frauds,” which features Drake and Lil Wayne, even mentions Papoose as Remy Ma’s ghostwriter. A fan encouraged Papoose to diss Drizzy by leaving the comment: “Take the Canadian out.” Another fan wrote: “It always pissed me off how you never really been main stream. And you got these mumble mouth rappers that rap like they are sesame street rappers.”

A day prior, both Papoose and his wife flaunted their love for one another on Instagram. Each shared a couple photo to prove their loyalty to each other amid the backlash Remy Ma’s been receiving from Minaj’s fans. They even used the title of their song “Black Love” as a hashtag to prove that they are in this together.

Meanwhile, Minaj seems to be in high spirits ever since Remy Ma failed to accomplish her challenge of releasing a response track to “No Frauds” and “Changed It” and booking an interview or a show without mentioning Onika’s name. The “Super Bass” singer recently shared online a video of her lip syncing to Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now.” The clip quickly became viral that Dion herself tweeted that she approves of Minaj’s impression of her.
