The clip shows the pooch getting impatient while waiting to meet its elderly owner, who is hospitalized. As soon as the owner is brought in front of the dog in a wheelchair, it leaps onto him, wagging its tail and smothers him with kisses. The clip ends with the elderly man embracing his beloved pet. It is not known where the incident happened.

"Pet visiting hours," reads the caption. The video has garnered over 4,300 upvotes as of Friday.

Some users commented that it's the glaring happiness in the doggo's face that made the clip worth watching.

"All hospitals should have pet visitation space," said a Reddit user. "This didn't just make me smile, it brought tears to my eyes. That doggo reminds me of my old doggo, aww!" another user commented. "Me and every single soul watching this: Aww," wrote a third person.

"I love my cat to pieces but I know he would not have a reaction like this if he saw me in the hospital for the first in a while," said a person.
