  • PewDiePie laughed at the memes but suggested he regrets sharing this story

YouTube superstar PewDiePie was left feeling embarrassed after his fans dug up an old story and made memes out of it.

During Monday's episode of his “LWIAY” (“Last Week I Asked You”) series, PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, responded to fans who created memes based on an embarrassing story that he had revealed way back in 2017.

“If you are confused by this, don’t ask. Because I’m not saying it again,” he said as he laughed at the memes.

When viewers did not stop joking about the incident, a visibly embarrassed PewDiePie said, “Why did I share this story? Stop it! I had no choice. I do not control my anus!”

For all those who are unaware, PewDiePie got candid about his life, successes and failures during an interview with his friend three years ago. At one point in the hour-long video, he also shared an embarrassing incident that happened when he was younger where he got very sick and had to relieve himself in a shower at a harbor in Sweden.

“I had eaten something weird that night. I felt it a few hours later [after eating] at the party. And I’m like I need to s--t right now, or else I’m going to s--t myself in front of everybody. So I ran. It was that state of emergency,” the 31-year-old YouTuber recalled.

When he rushed to the public bathroom, he saw a long line outside the door. Unfortunately for him, nobody listened to him, and he had to find another place to relieve himself.

“I ran in [to the restroom] anyways and I found a toilet. But it was a shower. So I took a s--t in the shower,” he shared.

The story most certainly left his fans in splits. PewDiePie found himself working as an employee at the same harbor, and the incident was a big joke among his colleagues.

“I got a job at that very harbor, and they would always tell the story about the man that took a s--t in the shower,” he had laughed.

Though there was nothing new to the story, PewDiePie’s fans continue to create hilarious memes about it to date.
