This weekend got off to a good start for those who play the lottery. Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing did not produce a jackpot winner, but several people went home happy, regardless. Four different players each won $1 million, while several others won tens of thousands of dollars.

That good fortune did not carry over to Saturday night’s Powerball lottery.

The winning numbers on Saturday night were 4, 6, 14, 20 and 32, with a red Powerball number of 13. The jackpot was worth $302 million. There was also a 2X Powerplay multiplier on the table, potentially jacking up the winnings even more.

It was not to be for Powerball winners on Saturday, however. Nobody won the jackpot, which is not that surprising, as nobody has won it at all in 2019. What is more surprising is that not a single player got the Match 5 prize of $1 million.

Usually, at least one or two people get that. Of course, nobody got the Match 5 with the multiplier, either. Plenty of people won smaller prizes, but it was not a sterling day for Powerball players, in general.

Since nobody won the jackpot, it will grow even more. Wednesday’s Powerball drawing will carry a $322 million jackpot with a cash value of $196.1 million.
