Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson may have shared a look of love during one of their recent horse-riding escapades.

The ex-couple were photographed riding their horses in Windsor on Saturday with Princess Beatrice. Ruth Hughes, a journalist for Express, revealed that the trip borrowed Queen Elizabeth II’s horses to spend a relaxing hour trotting around the royal estate.

Hughes said that Prince Andrew and Ferguson are not keen equestrians, but it was evident that they had an enjoyable time riding their horses. Prince Andrew also smiled as Ferguson looked at him. A source revealed that the ex-couple got even closer to each other because they have been planning Princess Eugenie’s wedding as a team.

“Planning for a wedding has brought Andrew and Sarah closer together and made them realize how important their family is to them. They have loved being involved, making sure Eugenie and Jack have a great day and they have spent a lot of time in each other’s company. You can see the spark is still there between them – they share the same sense of humor, the same sense of fun and both adore their daughters and Jack,” the source said.

“Andrew has never been good on a horse but he has been out riding a lot recently because he has taken over the post of Colonel of the Grenadier Guards and needs to ride for ceremonial occasions. Sarah decided to join him and they looked like they loved every minute of it. Like any parents, they are nervous and hope the big day goes well and this was the perfect way to unwind and relax for a short time,” the insider added.

Princess Eugenie will tie the knot on Oct. 12. Her special day will also serve as the first time for Ferguson and Prince Philip to pose for a photograph together since 1996.
