Prince Harry is aware that in time, Prince George and Princess Charlotte will eclipse him.

According to royal biographer Angela Levin, the Duke of Sussex is aware that his nephew and niece will eventually steal the limelight and eclipse him. In fact, he is prepping for that day by rushing to do the things that he needs to get done.

“One of the things he said to me though was that he was in a big rush to make changes and to do something that’s really valuable,” Levin said on Yahoo’s “Royal Box.”

“Because, he said, ‘all too soon George and Charlotte will be hogging all the films,’” the journalist added.

Prince Harry is doing things very quickly. Earlier this year, he and his wife, Meghan Markle, decided to split their household from Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Meanwhile, host Kate Thornton remarked that anybody could be a celebrity but not anybody could become a royal. Royal correspondent Duncan Larcombe agreed but stressed that there’s also the issue of “longevity.”

In the royal fold, the younger royals tend to become more popular than the old ones. For instance, at present, Prince Harry, Markle, Prince William, and Kate Middleton are more popular than Princess Anne, Prince Charles, and Camilla Parker Bowles. Royal photographer Ian Lloyd gave a reasonable explanation about this matter.

“In 20-years time when they launch a crusade like this, mental health and so on, the press won’t be interested, because they go for the more photogenic ones,” Lloyd said to warn Prince William and Middleton who usually prefer to enjoy their privacy that in time they will be desperate for press coverage.

He also pointed out that 20 years ago, Princess Anne making a speech about prison reform would get covered by the media. However, at present, the Royal Princess’ whereabouts are not closely followed anymore because “she is not the young attractive one.”

Levin also recalled how Prince Harry told her that he didn’t like to be a celebrity. Prince William’s brother recognized the “narrow line” that divides the two and said that he never wants to cross it. However, Levin thinks that he already did.
