  • Prince Harry and Prince William are "not talking at the moment," royal expert Nick Bullen claims

Prince Harry and Prince William are still not on speaking terms despite their seemingly friendly reunion at their grandfather Prince Philip's funeral, according to a report.

The Duke of Sussex was spotted seemingly engaged in a friendly conversation with Prince William and wife Kate Middleton after the late Duke of Edinburgh's service in April. Fans were happy to see the royal trio reunited and getting along amid rumors of a feud, but according to royal expert Nick Bullen, there is still a long way to go before the rift between the brothers heals.

"All of my sources tell me that they are not talking at the moment," Bullen told Us Weekly Monday.

Bullen, who is the editor-in-chief and co-founder of True Royalty TV, noted that Kate Middleton played a role in her husband and brother-in-law’s friendly reunion. And though Prince William and Prince Harry have yet to reconcile, Bullen said he believes it was a good start in the process of mending their relationship.

"It’s pretty clear that the Duchess of Cambridge was doing her best to build the bridges. Softly, softly seems to be the order of the day," the royal expert added.

Royal biographer Katie Nicholl also previously praised Middleton for serving as the "peacemaker" and doing her best to help her husband reconnect with his younger brother.

"It's always been my understanding that behind the scenes, Kate has tried very hard to forge a rapprochement and act as a peacemaker between William and Harry," the "Harry and Meghan" author told Entertainment Tonight.

"She loves Harry. She says that she is the sister that he never had. She has been heartbroken to see them fall out, and I think she is one of the few people, one of the few family members who would actually be able to push the brothers together, which she did in a very subtle way, but was very effective," she continued.

While examining footage and photos of the brothers from the April 17 service, body language expert Judi James suggested that there had been a genuine moment of connection between Prince William and Prince Harry during their reunion. Elaine Swann, another body language expert, said Prince Charles' sons were showing signs of reconciliation.

However, a family friend of the royal siblings told People that while their reunion was a "good start," their alleged feud would not be easy to fix.

"I think it's a good start and it was lovely to see but this whole argument runs so deep, I don't think there is any quick fix," the unnamed source said.

Prince Harry and Prince William are expected to reunite once more when they unveil a statue of their late mother Princess Diana at Kensington Palace on July 1 — what would have been her 60th birthday.
