Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s household split have been confirmed and this might affect the royal trio’s charity.

According to Laura O’Callaghan, a journalist for Express, Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry’s charity foundation is in jeopardy following their decision to split. In 2009, Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ sons founded the Royal Foundation.

Middleton and Markle joined on as patrons of the charity on later dates. Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry were active advocates for the said foundation prior to Markle’s arrival. The royal trio has been seen together promoting its four main areas that include mental health, helping young people, the armed forces and conservation.

One of the charity’s popular program is Heads Together that focuses on working with young people, emergency response team, homeless charities and veterans with their unresolved mental health. Prince William attributed the brilliant idea to Middleton.

"It was Catherine who first realized that all three of us were working on mental health in our individual areas of focus," Prince William said. "She had seen that at the core of adult issues like addiction and family breakdown, unresolved childhood mental health issues were often part of the problem."

Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry worked on a number of projects and encouraged everyone to speak up and share their burden at home or in their working place. Heads Together is believed to be among the reasons the suicide rate in Britain has reduced.

However, now that the royal trio is splitting, this might affect their charities. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have separate communications staff to that of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prince Harry and Markle will also be closer to Queen Elizabeth II this time because they will be based at Buckingham Palace. Prince William and Middleton will remain at Kensington Palace.

The royal trio was expected to morph into “fab four“ when Markle joined the royal family, but there were rumors that they have been feuding. Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle made their first official engagement together at the Royal Foundation forum in February 2018 which was initially announced to be an annual event. However, the four royals didn’t repeat the reunion this year which only reignited their rumored rift.
