Princess Beatrice has been accused of snubbing Queen Elizabeth II during Sunday’s Easter church service.

When Her Majesty arrived at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the female royals curtsied to her. However, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter did not curtsy to her grandmother.

But royal author Robert Jobson said that there is a reason why Kate Middleton and Zara Phillips were the only female royals that curtsied when the Queen passed by. This is because curtsies are only done during their first meeting with the Queen every day.

Not curtsying to the monarch could only mean that Princess Beatrice already saw her grandmother earlier that day. During their first meeting, the 30-year-old might have curtsied to the Queen.

Meanwhile, Middleton made headlines last weekend after she seemingly did a perfect curtsy in front of Her Majesty. Dress in an elegant light blue coat and dress with a matching fascinator, the Duchess of Cambridge placed one foot behind the other and bent her knees while smiling at the Queen.

Middleton’s curtsy was dubbed by royal fans and publications as perfect because it fit the description of how the correct curtsy should be done by etiquette expert Myka Meier. While speaking with People, she said that curtsies should be subtle and the deeper and longer the pause is, shows more respect and formality.

In related news, Princess Beatrice also made headlines this week after it was revealed that she is planning on breaking a royal tradition when it comes to marriage. The royal, who is dating Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is rumored to be desperately wanting to tie the knot.

A source said that Princess Beatrice has become so desperate that she also doesn’t mind having a baby first before marrying her boyfriend. Mozzi also has a toddler son from his previous relationship, which means that if he marries Princess Beatrice, the latter would be the first royal to have an illegitimate child before marriage.
