Emma, Ray and the other children of Grace Field House are set to encounter unimaginable beings as "The Promised Neverland" returns with Season 2.

After successfully escaping the dreaded Grace Field House, the children are looking forward to a world beyond the walls.

"The Promised Neverland" Season 2, Episode 1 will likely pick things from where Season 1 concluded. Emma and the others are aware of the challenges of the outside world.

The official website released the season summary hinting at the creatures and demons outside Grace Field House. However, Emma and company will not give up as they move ahead with a promise to return and save others trapped inside the house.

"The Promised Neverland" Season 2 synopsis

"Fifteen children escape Grace Field House, a false paradise, hoping for a chance at freedom. Instead, they encounter plants and animals they have never seen before, and are chased by demons. The outside world is so beautiful and yet is almost too cruel to face. Even so, the children refuse to give up. They are guided in their search for better lives only by a message from Minerva and a pen Norman left behind in order to fulfill their promise to return to the House to save those of their family who are still trapped within," the series synopsis read.

The opening theme of "The Promised Neverland" Season 2, titled "Identity," is by Kiro Akiyama and the ending theme, called "Mahou " is performed by Myouk!

The cast members of "The Promised Neverland" Season 2 include Sumire Morohoshi as Emma, Mariya Ise as Ray, Shinei Ueki as Don, Lynn as Gilda, Shizuka Ishigami as Nat, Ai Kayano as Anna, Mari Hino as Thoma, Yuko Mori as Lannion, Mari Hino as Dominic, Erisa Kuon as Jemima, Coco Hayashi as Rossi, Nao Shiraki as Yvette, Hiyori Kono as Christie, Yoshino Aoyama as Alicia, Shinichiro Kamio as Sonju, Atsumi and Tanezaki as Mujika.

Fans can watch "The Promised Neverland" Season 2, Episode 1 live stream on Funimation and Hulu. The episodes will be in Japanese with English subtitles.
