Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles are reportedly both very fond of Meghan Markle due to a heartbreaking reason.

A source recently told Mirror that the two senior royals believe that the Duchess of Sussex has dealt with the situation with her family in a dignified manner. As of late, Markle still hasn’t spoken publicly about her alleged feud with her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., as well as her half-siblings.

The Duchess of Sussex has not spoken to Thomas in months since she and Prince Harry tied the knot. It has also been revealed last year that Thomas staged fake photos of himself for the press.

According to the source, the entire royal family is sympathetic towards the “Suits” alum because of everything she has had to deal with. And as of now, Markle has no plans to rekindle her relationship with her dad and half-sisters.

“Meghan’s overriding view is that there is no place for her father or his extended family in her life right now. She has a strong family unit around her in Harry, with their adorable newborn son, and he has been very, very clear that she only wants positive influences for Archie,” a senior royal source said.

The former Hollywood star has reportedly built a strong bond with Prince Charles during her fallout with her dad. And Markle has also discussed the situation with the heir to the throne. Markle definitely sees Prince Charles as a father figure.

Meanwhile, the last time that Thomas has spoken to the press was after his grandson was born on May 6. He told The Sun that he’s delighted to know that his daughter and grandson are both doing well. He also said that he’s proud that Archie is born into the British royal family.

“God bless the child and I wish him health and happiness, and my congratulations to my lovely daughter Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry, and GOD save the Queen,” he said.
