The cat may be out of the bag, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the plotline of “Revenge” will be slowing down. In fact, according to TVLine, the exact opposite will occur as Season 4 continues.

After Emily (Emily VanCamp) and David (James Tupper) reunited in episode 7, Victoria (Madeline Stowe) made a beeline for the exit. (We wouldn't want to stick around for David's reaction to Victoria's lies either.) But of course, what would a Grayson departure be if not dramatic? Once Victoria stepped out into the dark and stormy night, the matriarch became a victim of electrocution when lightning struck a telephone pole, knocking her out.

From the promo video of episode 8 it looks like Victoria has managed to survive -- like the designer-dressed cockroach she is -- and is resting in a hospital. But just because one villain from “Revenge” is indisposed doesn’t mean the Hamptons are safe.

TVLine revealed a new character would be introduced in Season 4 to cause chaos in Victoria’s absence. But who is this mysterious addition and what do they have up their sleeve?

According to reports, Louise (Elena Satine) will come face-to-face with another person from her past -- and this time it won’t be all in her head. Her brother, Lyman, who is described as a manipulative politician, will be using his Southern charm throughout “Revenge” to mask his true intentions. While his plans for the drama-filled town are still up in the air, we know one thing for sure: The apple never falls far from the tree.

So, when will Lyman make his way to the Hamptons? The synopsis for episode 8, “Contact,” revealed the answer when it teased that a “new and mysterious” enemy would strike when “Revenge” returns for more drama next week.
