‘Riverdale’ Season 1 Spoilers: What Is Polly Planning Against The Blossoms? [RECAP]

Polly (Tiera Skovbye) planned something as retaliation against the Blossoms in “Riverdale.”

“Riverdale” Season 1, episode 9 saw Polly telling Archie (KJ Apa) that she decided to live with the Blossoms, though she insisted that it was not because she was choosing them over her own family. Instead, she decided to stay close to them to expose their biggest secrets. Unfortunately, the rest of Polly’s plan will only come into fruition in the upcoming episodes.

In “Chapter Nine: La Grande Illusion,” the Blossoms gave Archie a wonderful offer that could seal his fate at a reputable music school. In return, he had to escort Cheryl at their family’s annual event. Archie agreed despite all of his friends telling him not to do so because the Blossoms are not to be trusted. But Archie also had other plans in mind. Instead of accepting Cheryl’s dad’s offer to send him to a good music school, he proposed that Clifford (Barclay Hope) stop terrorizing his dad, Fred’s (Luke Perry), business instead. Clifford agrees as long as Archie would make it seem as though he is dating Cheryl.

But before Clifford could fulfill his part of the bargain, Cheryl made a bold move that destroys everything for Archie. Jason’s (Trevor Stines) sister tried to kiss Archie, but he refused. Now that the deal is out, Archie had some explaining to do to Betty (Lili Reinhart) as well. Before heading to the Blossoms, Betty asked Archie to dig some dirt on the creepy family. Unfortunately, he could no longer do so because he is not welcome in their home anymore.

Luckily, Polly was still in the Blossom household, and no one knew what she’s really up to. In fact, Polly has been showing the Blossom family how nice, kind and trustworthy she is so that they could open up to her in the future.
