The Sacramento Kings will be looking to rebound from a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers when they square off with the Orlando Magic on Monday, January 9 at the Golden 1 Center.

The Kings and Magic are coming off contrasting results, but the home-court advantage could aid Sacramento in getting back on track.

In their last assignment, they lost by only two points to the Lakers, 134-136.

Two free throws from Dennis Schroder allowed the Purple and Gold to escape with a win.

De'Aaron Fox led the Kings' losing cause with a game-high 34 points to go with nine assists.

Meanwhile, Domantas Sabonis backed him up with 25 markers and hauled down 12 rebounds.

In that game, the Kings shot 52.3% from the field, but the Lakers were better with a 61% shooting clip and had five more attempts.

The Kings also lost the rebounding battle, 34 to 38.

Sacramento is averaging 118.3 points per game and shooting 48.9% from the field.

The Kings are also norming 41.8 rebounds per game.

Defensively, the Kings are letting opponents 117.3 per contest and 49.1% field goal shooting, while they are giving up 42.4 boards per outing and hold a defensive rating of 73.

On the other hand, the Magic are coming off a rousing 115-101 win over the Golden State Warriors with Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner holding up the fort.

Banchero amassed 25 points and five rebounds, while Wagner finished with 24 points.

Orlando shot 50.6% from the field and shot better beyond the arc with a 40.6% clip.

However, the Magic lost the rebounding battle, 44-49.

The Magic are 110.4 points per game and shooting 46.9% from the field, where they are also averaging 43.3 rebounds per contest.

On the defensive end, Orlando is allowing the opposition 113.9 points per game on 47% shooting from the field.

However, Orlando is giving up 42 rebounds per game and holds a defensive rating of 81.

The Kings are -6 spread favorites to prevail over the Magic, who are at +6.

Furthermore, the Moneyline is -240 for Sacramento and +205 for Orlando.
