Sam Heughan has some exciting news that he will soon share with his fans online. The actor recently teased that he has some “major plans” and “exciting announcements” concerning the My Peak Challenge.

Heughan has a huge fan following for his portrayal of Jamie Fraser in the “Outlander” TV series, but there are a lot of people who also follow him for his My Peak Challenge initiative as well. The initiative seeks to educate and inspire members to lead a happier and healthier life, with a global community of people who support each other in achieving new goals and in the process they are attempting to make the world a better place.

In a recent Instagram post, Heughan said that he has some “major plans” for My Peak Challenge this year. He added that he will make these “exciting announcements” soon.

At the start of the current year, Heughan posted an inspiring video showing the achievements of some of the members of the initiative, who call themselves Peakers. He also challenged the participants to come out with a new set of challenges to take up this year.

Three months into 2019, Heughan said that already My Peak Challenge has had a great year. He thanked the team behind the initiative and the participants for making this possible.

The actor constantly posts inspiring stories on social media, and the more recent post on Twitter is about a boy named Hugo who is making steady progress after the end of his treatment. The boy walked to school for the first time in his life, and then showed “just how amazing his legs are” now by walking back to home.

The other charity initiative Heughan has teamed up with is Omaze. The “Outlander” star offered his fans a chance to go on a date with him in Scotland. The deadline to participate and win the date has ended, and the winner will be announced in the coming weeks. All the money raised through this effort will be donated to charities chosen by My Peak Challenge team.
