Seth Rogen took a dig at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards, which took place at the Event Deck at L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 39-year-old actor, who went on the stage to present the first award of the event, noted how unsafe it felt. "Good to be here at the Emmy Awards," he said, Cosmopolitan reported. "Let me start by saying: there’s way too many of us in this little room."

The "40 Year Old Virgin" actor further noted that the event was promised to be held outdoors but now they are seated in a hermetically sealed tent.

"What are we doing? They said this was outdoors. It's not," he added. "They lied to us. We're in a hermetically sealed tent right now. I would not have come to this."

The actor also shared his concern regarding the roof as it made ventilation questionable. "Why is there a roof? he questioned. "It’s more important that we have three chandeliers than that we make sure we don’t kill Eugene Levy tonight. That is what has been decided."

The actor went on to compare how they used to wipe the groceries during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and now, actor Paul Bettany is sneezing in his face.

"This is insane," Rogen said. "I went from wiping my groceries to Paul Bettany sneezing in my face. So, that’s a big week! If anyone’s gonna sneeze in my face, Paul, I want it to be you."

Viewers immediately took to Twitter to share their reactions. Rogen's name began to trend on the microblogging platform. One of the fans had a similar concern:

Another wrote, "It's cool that Seth Rogen is exposing the Emmys for lying about the ceremony being outdoors and all the major news sites are just "haha look at his funny suit, UH OH he mispronounced a name!"

One commentator wrote, "Seth Rogen saying what we are all thinking about this many people being in that damn room. #Emmys2021," while another viewer praised the actor for addressing the elephant in the room.

On the work front, Rogen will be next seen in a TV miniseries, "Pam & Tommy," which is currently under post-production. The actor is currently filming "The Fabelmans," which is helmed by Steven Spielberg.
