Winter is coming for former “Game of Thrones” actor Sophie Turner. Her starring role in the new series “Survive” finds Turner once again braving the cold and playing a character with an American accent.

“Survive” is a thriller series set to launch on the upcoming streaming platform Quibi. The show is based on the novel of the same name by Alex Morel, about two people who are stranded at the top of a snow-covered mountain after their plane crashes.

Turner, who is by now used to playing characters with complicated backstories, will be playing Jane, a young woman who according to the trailer, is recently released from a rehabilitation center and is considering ending her own life on the flight until the crash happens.

“So when I get on that plane tonight… I’ll never arrive home,” Turner says in the trailer.

It’s not the first role that has required she trade in her English accent for an American one. She starred in two X-Men movies as young Jean Grey, including last June's “Dark Phoenix” following the finale of “Game of Thrones.”

In “Survive,” Turner stars alongside “The Walking Dead” and “Straight Outta Compton” actor Corey Hawkins.

“We’re here together,” Hawkins’s character Paul says in the trailer. “I need to know you’re not going to tap out on me.”

Turner said she is “honored” to play this new role, because of the emotional intricacies of her character.

“She’s a complex character fighting against the odds to not only save her life but to also find her own source of strength and courage,” Turner said, according to Variety. “I only hope this can impact anyone struggling with self-worth to understand they are braver than they know and to seek the support they need.”

The series will be released as part of Quibi’s “Movies in Chapters” category. Each episode will be about 7-10 minutes.

“Survive” is one of 50 titles that will release when Quibi launches on April 6.
