Jaleel White, formerly known as Steve Urkel of Family Matters and current Dancing with the Star competitor, is responding to allegations that he verbally and physically abused his ex-girlfriend and baby momma, Bridget Hardy.

Hardy told Star Magazine that in May 2010 she confronted White about cheating and was then struck across the chest area. The mom of White's 2-year-old daughter, Samaya, continued that He pushed me into the toilet and it broke.

Hardy claims that White had naked photos of women on his phone. It was a lot of flirting, like 'I'm coming to your room,' at 4 a.m., says Hardy. He told me I'm not working; I have no money, I'm white trash. None of it was true, Hardy told Star magazine, even claiming that White offered her $200,000 to abandon her daughter.

White told People magazine that the verbal and physical abuse claims are due to a child-custody dispute. The Dancing with the Stars competitor said that he thought the issue had been resolved. When you're doing well in life, it's par for the course certain individuals will try and knock you down, White said in a statement. When the individual is also the mother of your only child it is particularly hurtful.

With a new show on SyFy and his reality show stint, Jaleel White thinks that the allegations from 2010 are resurfacing because his ex-girlfriend has a knack for timing. Through all of the allegations, White still has a sense of humor though. I'm assuming I have not received her votes these past Monday nights, White says of his success on Dancing with the Stars.

My only hope is that when my daughter Google's her parents one day in her future, she sees her father acted with class and dignity when pressed to the fire, said White.

No charges have been filed as Hardy claimed she didn't want to.
