Will Smith will soon find himself in unfamiliar territory when he portrays villain Deadshot in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie. Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, thinks highly of her husband’s character, at least when it comes to his suit.

Entertainment Tonight spoke to Smith at CinemaCon in Las Vegas where he said Pinkett Smith thought his outfit for the film was “pretty hot.” Deadshot’s costume contains black and red armor, plenty of guns and the character has a beard.

“I went with the Suge Knight look. I was using my model. I went with the rough, rugged and raw. She appreciated that,” Smith dished.

Deadshot is an assassin known as the world’s deadliest marksman, who has incredible accuracy. In the comics, he’s often a foe of Batman, but has also been known to play the role of antihero. In “Suicide Squad,” Deadshot will be a part of a team of criminals assigned to carry out a mission for a secret government agency. If they succeed in the dangerous task, the villains will be pardoned.

Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Slipknot (Adam Beach), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez) and Kantana (Karen Fukuhara) will all be part of the team with Deadshot. The Joker (Jared Leto) will also have a part in the movie, but it’s unclear how he’ll be involved with the squad.

Rumors have suggested there could eventually be a “Suicide Squad” sequel in the future. In an interview with MTV News on Sunday, Smith said he didn’t know what the future of the franchise would be, but he did have an idea for Deadshot if the character survives the upcoming film. His idea would involve him possibly trying on another suit.

“There was one of the comics…Bruce Wayne got injured, and I think Deadshot came in for a couple of them, you know. He had to throw on the Batsuit. So I’m just saying, if they’re gonna draw on that…I wouldn’t reject it. I’m a team player. If they need me in the suit, I’m in it,” Smith said.
