The “Supernatural” Season 15 finale episode was supposed to air this month, but that is no longer possible. The show has been on break ever since the lockdown was announced. The fans are now eagerly waiting for the producers to announce a new release date.

Some of the upcoming episodes have been filmed, but the postproduction process is still unfinished. According to TV Guide, the filming work until episode 18 has been completed. The finale episode was supposed to air on May 18, but the show is currently on a hiatus.

This will be the last season of the popular TV series and the show has been mentioned in some of the other TV series. In “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 5, episode 8 for instance, the characters Sara (Caity Lotz) and Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) go to British Columbia, where they see a set announcement for “Supernatural.”

Filming of “Supernatural” takes place in British Columbia and Sara has been revealed to be a big fans of Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). The two characters have a lot in common, and one of them is the fact that they have both come back in their respective shows after being killed.

Another TV series that has referenced “Supernatural” is “Lucifer,” Screen Rant reported. In Season 4 of the series about the Devil (Tom Ellis), Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) talked about a fellow angel Cassiel who doesn’t have a talent for singing, which is a reference to Castiel (Misha Collins). The fans have already seen Collins singing in Season 9 while trying to put a baby to sleep.

As far as the upcoming “Supernatural” episodes are concerned, there will be a mystery woman who will visit the bunker, Entertainment Weekly reported. The character will help the Winchester brothers to celebrate all the holidays they didn’t get to enjoy. The whole episode will be about this new character making Christmas, Thanksgiving, and birthdays.

Two more episodes of the show remain to be filmed. The producers will announce when the filming will start again after the lockdown ends. The “Supernatural” Season 15 return date may also be announced once the production begins.
