3 New Jersey Family Members Dead, 4 Others, Hospitalized Because Of COVID-19

Three family members died in New Jersey after contracting COVID-19 infection in a March 10 family gathering. One of them, the daughter who died last Friday, was reportedly the state's second recorded coronavirus-related fatality. Four relatives remain hospitalized in critical condition while 19 others relatives were tested and quarantined while waiting for results.

NY, NJ, Connecticut To Shut Bars, Restaurants, Movie Theatres Amid COVID-19 Outbreak

New York, New Jersey and Connecticut governors declared the shutting down of non-essential establishments such as bars, movie theaters, casinos, and restaurants amid the COVID-19 pandemic in an effort to prevent the increasing cases of coronavirus transmission. However, essential businesses such as supermarkets and gas stations will remain operational after 8 PM while restaurants, although closed, can still offer delivery and take-out services.
