Tanzania found their champ! Shubila Stanton bagged the crown in the recently held Miss Universe Tanzania 2019, and would be representing her country to the upcoming Miss Universe 2019.

Stanton is the 12th woman to represent Tanzania in international beauty competition, Conan Daily reported. Recent reports revealed that Stanton’s sincerity and dedication impressed everyone, particularly, the judges during the 2019 Miss Universe Tanzania.

This lovely Miss Universe 2019 contender is reportedly from Morogoro. This town is reportedly about 196km west of Dar es Salaam. Stanton holds the crown for Miss Morogoro 2019-2020 but during the competition held at the Serena Hotel on October 12, 2019, Stanton represented Dar es Salaam.

Formerly known as Mzizima, Dar is reportedly known as the country’s the economic center. There are five Districts which consist of Dar es Salaam. These are Ilala, Kinondoni, Temeke, Kigamboni and Ubongo.

Tanzania’s represent for the Miss Universe 2019 is 23 years old, standing as 6 feet tall, Angelopedia reported.

The upcoming Miss Universe 2019 pageant will be a challenge and not to mention, the added pressure, considering the fact that last year, Tanzania was not able to partipate. In 2017, Tanzania sent off Lilian Maraeul, who vied for the crown during the 2017 Miss Universe.

The official date and venue of the Miss Universe 2019 are still under the wraps. However, since this is a big annual event, speculations could not be helped. According to the report of the news outlet the South African, South Africa are among those nations speculated to host the annual prestigious event.

The report further revealed that the Miss Universe has never been hosted in the said continent. There are other circulating speculations that it might be held South Korea or in the Philippines, which is the hometown of the current title holder, Catriona Gray.

What the organization revealed thus far, in terms of the Miss Universe 2019, was the new crown. Mouawad, famous luxury jeweler, will be the new crown provider. Other than the Miss Universe, Mouwad will reportedly sponsor the new crowns for Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. Mouwad highly anticipated crown design will replace the Mikimoto crown.

It will be one crazy adventure. Their journey, including Stanton’s, is just about to start but it will be fun. There may be a lot of challenges in the near future and these girls will surely know what to do.
