Teen Wolf 607 recap
The pack trapped a Ghost Rider in “Teen Wolf” Season 6, episode 7. MTV

“Teen Wolf” has let plenty of mysteries linger throughout the final season, but one question was finally answered in Season 6, episode 7. Audiences found out how Claudia, Stiles’ dead mother, is suddenly alive and well. Unfortunately, the Sheriff wasn’t as interested as fans are.

Conjuring Claudia: The Sheriff (Linden Ashby) picks up where he left off last week on the MTV drama. He started peeling the wallpaper that Lydia (Holland Roden) tried to pull down several weeks ago. He finds Stiles’ room, but he has no memory of the house having a sealed off area. Claudia (Joey Honsa) says the previous owners must have closed it off.

“There are so many simple explanations for why this is here. That we had a son that we’ve forgotten is not one of them,” Claudia tells him. Claudia wants the Sheriff to drop the Stiles search, but he really can’t.

Lydia tells her mother (Susan Walters) that she has been thinking about Eleanor and the dead son she conjured. She wonders if the Sheriff conjured Claudia. She knows that Claudia had a deadly disease, frontotemporal demetia, which should’ve killed her yet mysteriously cleared up. She was also not just angry when Lydia pulled the wallpaper. She was scared.

“What if Claudia being here is preventing him from remembering Stiles?” Lydia asks her mother. Mrs. Martin points out that Lydia probably doesn’t want to be the one to destroy the Sheriff’s small family.

She doesn’t stay away, though. Stilinski brings Lydia to the room he discovered. Lydia starts to see more than an empty room. She can remember Stiles’ (Dylan O’Brien) bed, his bulletin boards for investigations. The Sheriff tells the banshee that he’s ready to listen to whatever she has to say about Stiles.

Lydia tells Sheriff about Eleanor and her dead son. She shares her theory that the Sheriff conjured his dead wife. The Sheriff doesn’t appreciate the accusation about his wife. Everything about Stiles is a theory. She is the only thing that’s real to him.

Lydia suddenly sees Stiles’ jersey. She reaches out and she can touch it. She sheds a tear as she smells it. The Sheriff can’t see the jersey, though. “I see a deeply disturbed young woman,” he says. She tosses him the shirt, and it suddenly materializes. He can see Stiles’ lacrosse jersey. It’s the physical evidence he needs.

To Catch A Predator: While Lydia convinced the Sheriff, everyone else was figuring out how to save their friends in episode 7. Unfortunately, that means relying on Theo (Cody Christian).

Theo is shown waking up in a morgue only to have his dead sister rip his heart out. He keeps reliving the experience over and over. It’s his own bloody version of “Groundhog Day.” Eventually, he tells her that it’s okay. She can keep doing this over and over.

“It’s okay, you don’t have to stop,” is what he told her. It’s the same thing he tells Malia (Shelley Hennig) when she attacks him. She would’ve killed him, but the pack stops her. Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) has to convince Scott (Tyler Posey) that they shouldn’t send him back to the skin walkers.

Theo actually killed Scott for a few seconds. The alpha can’t truly trust Theo, but Scott needs his best friend back. He decides to let Liam see his plan through.

They put Theo in chains, and he shows them where to find the transformer they need to catch a Ghost Rider. He says it’s a dumb plan, but Hayden (Victoria Moroles) believes in her boyfriend.

The pack traps a Ghost Rider, and Scott’s manages to get the Rider’s gun. Their plan seems to have worked, but the Rider keeps summoning electricity.

“Mr. Ghost Rider, Mr. Rider, we’ll let you out if you tell us how to get our friends back,” Liam says. They aren’t actually sure how to communicate with the Rider. They quickly realize that he has stopped trying to get out. He must have signaled for back up.

Mason (Khylin Rhambo), who revealed he can see Corey (Michael Johnston) when he is invisible, realizes that the Ghost Rider at the party wasn’t afraid of Parrish (Ryan Kelley). He was trying to communicate. They need the hellhound.

Parrish approaches the Ghost Rider and asks him how to get the people back. “Those who hunt with us hunt forever,” the Ghost Rider says. He claims no one can escape.

The Ghost Rider says something else, and Parrish goes into full hellhound mode. As his skin is set on fire, he tries to step through the cage. It seems he wants to free the villain. Scott and Liam have to use all their strength to get the hellhound out. Parrish runs away and say not to follow him.

The Teacher’s Victim: Mr. Douglas (Pete Ploszek) enters after the good wolves have conveniently left. Theo says the teacher should tell the pack who he is. Douglas digs his claws into Theo’s chest and forces him to break the mountain ash barrier.

“It’s been a long time,” Douglas says. The teacher manages to grab the Rider by the throat and bites into his head. He pulls out a gland from his brain and eats it.

Scott and Liam are shocked to find the Rider dead. Theo tells them Mr. Douglas ate his brain. Liam doesn’t seem to believe him, but Scott and Mason realize that this is part of the other murders. Liam also notices that the Ghost Rider’s whip is gone.

Mr. Douglass has the whip. His eyes are green now, and he attacks Corey. He manages to turn Corey to green dust.

Daddy Drama: Malia has a plan that doesn’t involve Theo. She gets Melissa (Melissa Ponzio) to help her get in touch with Peter (Ian Bohen). He has third degree burns all over his body, and she should probably say goodbye to her father. Still, Melissa will treat Peter if he helps his daughter. He agrees, but he doesn’t understand how Melissa could treat him. She uses the nine herbs remedy Argent (J.R. Bourne) showed her.

Peter drives Malia back to where he came through the portal. Malia wants to go through the magical threshold. Peter doesn’t think they’ll find the train station, but then he suddenly hears horses. The Ghost Riders are coming, and Peter isn’t letting Malia go to the prison. He decides to sacrifice himself for his daughter, but they don’t take him. As one Rider is killed by Mr. Douglas, the other Riders take off.

“Teen Wolf” Season 6 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
