  • "Thor 4" may bring back Lady Sif
  • Jaimie Alexander teased her return in a recent interview
  • The production will start later this year

“Thor 4” may bring back a veteran character from the first movie. A video has surfaced online that shows Lady Sif actress Jaimie Alexander talking about returning to play the role.

There has been a lot of speculation about what new characters the upcoming film will introduce. The movie will bring in new characters, but it will also bring back some established characters from the previous movies. One such character who may return is Lady Sif, who was Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) ally, is one of the strongest warriors from Asgard.

A video of Alexander’s interview has surfaced online, in which she talked about her career, CBR reported. When asked about riding a horse and wielding a sword, the actress pointed out that she did that before and may be able to do it again at some point in the future. She added that she hopes she hasn’t lost the “gift” of her skills in horse riding and sword fighting.

When asked about the projects she is working on currently, Alexander said that she would “cease to exist” if she divulged that information. Her words suggest that she may be reprising her role in “Thor 4” or miniseries about Lady Sif that Disney is supposedly developing for its streaming platform.

Meanwhile, the script of the upcoming film is still being developed. Taika Waitit is working on the script and they have now roped in “Someone Great” director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson to work with Waititi on the story, Variety reported.

As far as the cast is concerned, Christian Bale is reportedly in talks to join the film, Collider reported. Details about the cast members may be revealed in the coming weeks. The production is expected to start later this year.

“Thor 4” will be released on Nov. 5, 2021. The confirmed cast members so far include Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.
