Chris Hemsworth’s character will go through some drastic changes in “Thor: Love and Thunder.” The characters was last seen with a beer belly and depressed in “Avengers: Endgame,” but the actor has promised that he will be different in the upcoming movie.

Hemsworth attended the Tokyo Comic Con recently, where he teased some details about the direction his character will be taking in his next solo flick. The actor hasn’t read the script yet, but he promised the fans that there will be a “drastic change” in his character for the movie, Screen Rant reported.

Thor was previously depressed after his first big fight with Thanos (Josh Brolin), and he started to drink. Will the God of Thunder hit the gym and get back into shape after the events in “Avengers: Endgame”?

Hemsworth pointed to the change in his character after the events in “Endgame.” He also said that there is a “lot of room” for change in his character following that movie, and added that it is “very, very exciting.”

Filming of “Thor: Love and Thunder” will begin by mid-2020, Hemsworth has confirmed. However, the actor may get a chance to reprise his role before the movie hits the theatres.

Sources have told We Got This Covered that Marvel is considering having Hemsworth for a cameo in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” The film is set to be released in 2021, and the fans may get to see an alternate version of Thor in one of the many worlds that Benedict Cumberbatch’s character is set to visit in the movie.

“Thor: Love and Thunder” is set to be released on Nov. 5, 2021. Details about the plot haven’t been revealed yet, but a deleted scene in “The Dark World” suggests that the movie will be about reunion of Jane (Natalie Portman) and the God of Thunder after their break up, Screen Rant reported.
